Why is xSuit’s Conversion Rate So Low?
xSuit, a suit brand, was spending $200,000 to $300,000 a month on ads through Meta and other channels. Despite scaling aggressively, they had a relatively low conversion rate. They realized that to increase the profitability of their ads and continue scaling, they needed to optimize their website which is why they reached out to me.
The Solution
Reducing Size Related Hesitation
Through post-purchase surveys, we identified that one of the biggest challenges for xSuit's customers was uncertainty about their suit size. To address this, we implemented a "Find My Size" feature. We added a button on the announcement banner that led to an interactive widget where customers could enter their height, weight, and age to find their perfect suit size. This feature aimed to reduce size-related hesitation and improve the overall shopping experience.

The implementation of the "Find My Size" feature had a significant impact:
- Conversion Rate Increase: The conversion rate increased by 20.39%.
- Revenue Per Session: The revenue per session increased by $1.42.
- Testing Period Results: During the 20-day testing period, there were 17,500 sessions, resulting in an additional $24,850 in revenue, or $1,242.50/day.
- Annualized Impact: Projecting this increase over a year, xSuit should see an added revenue of approximately $453,512.50.
