What a Real CRO Guarantee Should Look Like

CRO Guarantee Revenue Per Visitor A/B Testing Conversion Optimization

Most agencies that say they guarantee results are guaranteeing something that cannot be checked. A guarantee only means something if it is measured in a number that cannot be gamed, tested against the truth on your own traffic, and backed by money if it fails. That is the whole standard behind a real cro guarantee, and almost nobody in this industry meets it.

Why Conversion Rate Alone Is a Bad Guarantee

Conversion rate is the easiest number in ecommerce to fake. Slash the price, add a coupon, gate the page behind a discount popup, and conversion rate climbs while the business makes less money. A guarantee built on conversion rate alone rewards the wrong behavior. It tells an agency to sell more units for less, not to build a better page.

Average order value has the same problem in reverse. You can push AOV up by upselling harder and annoying more shoppers into buying less often. Neither number on its own tells you if the page actually made the store more money per visitor who showed up.

Revenue Per Visitor Is the Number That Cannot Be Gamed

Revenue per visitor multiplies conversion rate and average order value into one number. It answers the only question that matters: for every person who lands on this page, how much money does the store make. You cannot inflate it with a discount, because a discount that raises conversion rate lowers the order value in the same motion, and revenue per visitor nets it out.

That is why we build our entire guarantee around it. When we rebuild a product page, we are promising a 10% lift in revenue per visitor in a controlled test, or the client gets their money back, for up to 5 test iterations. There is no soft language in that promise because the metric does not allow for soft language.

How the Test Actually Works

A guarantee is only as honest as the test behind it. Every result we report comes from splitting real, live traffic between the new page and the brand’s current page, using an actual A/B testing platform, on the store’s own account. We never use ad platform reported revenue, because ad platforms report what they think happened, not what happened. We read the number straight from the testing tool.

That discipline is what makes a flat $2,500 offer for a full page rebuild possible in the first place. We are not pricing in guesswork. We know what a well built page does against a weak one often enough that we can put our fee on the line for it. You can see the actual test setups and platforms behind every number on /results, and the full mechanics of the offer and the refund terms on /guarantee.

What the Measured Results Actually Show

We have worked with 400+ ecommerce brands, but that number describes relationships, not tests. We only publish a result when it comes from a controlled A/B test we can point to, and there are 14 of those. The range is wide on purpose, because it shows the guarantee holds up across very different traffic and very different products.

Particle for Men saw a 21.4% lift in revenue per visitor at 99.5% confidence across 12,893 visitors, tested on VWO, and the winning page is still live two years later. Bareline saw a 13.5% lift at 99% probability to win across 92,484 sessions, our PDP template against theirs, on sitewide product traffic. Eiyan Lens saw 52%. Gum of Gods saw 97%. Some small sample results, like Prime Natural at 307% and Snuff Cup at 310%, are big because the sample was small, and we say so rather than let the number stand alone as something it is not.

What ties all 14 together is not the size of the lift. It is that every one of them came from the same process: read the current page, read the current traffic, build a page against a specific hypothesis, and let the test decide.

Why Most Guarantees Skip This Step

A guarantee that promises “more sales” or “better conversion” without naming the metric, the traffic split, or the testing platform is not a guarantee. It is a sales line with no mechanism behind it. The reason most agencies do not offer a real one is that a real one requires you to be willing to lose the fee when the test does not clear the bar, and to be precise enough about the metric that there is nowhere to hide if it does not.

We built the whole offer backward from that requirement. The page rebuild is the first, provable piece of a bigger approach to how a store’s funnel gets built, which we go into further on /methodology. But the guarantee only works because revenue per visitor is the one number in ecommerce that tells the truth whether you want it to or not.

We rebuild your highest-leverage page and prove the lift on your own live traffic. A 10% lift in revenue per visitor, or your money back.
