E-commerce Strategist Job Description
An E-commerce Strategist plays a vital role in driving our online sales and improving the overall customer experience on our platform. With the escalating growth of e-commerce, the E-commerce Strategist will work cross-functionally with various teams to optimize our platform, understanding deeply the customer journey and the technology needed for a successful e-commerce initiative
- E-commerce Experience Management: Oversee and ensure a seamless customer journey from the arrival on the site to the point of purchase. Work closely with UX designers to enhance the website experience, ensuring it is optimized for mobile devices, and constantly monitor competitors and latest trends
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Responsible for improving the website's conversion rate by analyzing performance, identifying areas of improvement, and keeping up with current online shopping trends
- Strategy Development: Formulate and implement e-commerce strategies that improve website performance, work with developers to enhance website speed, and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure quality traffic acquisition
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze various data to deliver data-driven strategies that achieve top performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). Oversee and report on overall e-commerce performance
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, and affiliate channels.
- Comprehensive understanding of UX, web design, customer flow, and web analysis.
- Ability to use Spreadsheets or Excel for web analytics and organizational tasks.
- Proficient in traffic analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
